Casa Guadalupe Multicultural Center is excited to announce a new direction for Rhythms for a Cause, transforming the event into a free, family-friendly celebration of culture, community, and educational opportunity.
Originally planned as an evening fundraising gala, Rhythms for a Cause has been reimagined with community accessibility and family participation in mind. Recognizing the importance of creating opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together, Casa Guadalupe has adjusted the event's format to make the celebration more welcoming and accessible to the entire community.
The event will now take place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Church Gymnasium, located at 406 Jefferson Street in West Bend. Admission is completely free.
Attendees can look forward to an afternoon filled with cultural entertainment, including performances by Ballet Folklórico Xanharati, live music from Paco's Trio, and DJ entertainment by Extreme Sounds Entertainment. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, along with several fundraising activities, including raffle baskets, a silent auction, wine pull, and chancla toss.
A new addition to this year's celebration is the Catrina Contest, inviting community members to dress in their best Catrina-inspired attire and participate in a community vote to select the favorite.
While the event's format has changed, its purpose remains the same: supporting Casa Guadalupe's scholarship and youth education programs. Through these initiatives, Casa Guadalupe continues to help local students overcome educational barriers and pursue opportunities for a brighter future.
By making Rhythms for a Cause a free community celebration, Casa Guadalupe hopes to welcome more families, strengthen community connections, and introduce new supporters to its educational mission.
Everyone is invited to attend, celebrate cultural traditions, and help invest in the next generation of students.
